Here are some questions / comments to talk about when holding your pre-season coaches meeting. Pick and choose what works for you.

• Coaches respect each other’s comments and keep between us when talking about sensitive issues.

• Physicals must be in before athletes can begin! 

• I’ll get you uniforms, practice pinnies, books, anything else let me know.  Medkit

• Talk about who may be going up to next level..

• Review signups and where are we at with names.

• Review calendars for practices and games.  Bus times are forth coming.

• Review Team Rules for all teams from 7th up to varsity.

• Review Program Book paying close attention to our goals.

• Keys, storage places, ball locations, locker locations 

• Problems?  I want to know soon.  I don’t want a call from the AD on a subject I know nothing about.

• Parents meeting will be Oct 25th at 7:30. 

• Fundraiser to help defer some costs?  Anyone want to head up? 

• Your team will need stat and away score book keeper.  AD will have home clock & book person.

• DVD’s and books available – call me if you want to look over, check out.

• Phone and cell phone list of all coaches and AD.

• Get your rosters into your school’s office as soon as possible with names, numbers & positions.

• Have control and structure to your practice.  You are in charge and responsible for everything that goes on.  Keep girls active and hustling.  Make practice structured and interesting like a game.

• Coaches make sure you get copies of physical cards and keep them with you at all times.  Make sure your athletes have completed and turned in team rules agreement slip and athletic Handbook signature slip.
