"For youth athletes who want to get to the top"

ssa3Welcome to the SSA training program, it’s where young athletes gradse 7-12 learn the value of being active and healthy. We tailor our fitness programs to get the results you and your child want in a safe, motivating, fun environment. At HOOPZONE SSA we keep it fun - working hard on coordination, agility, speed, functional strength, balance and reaction skills. Linear speed is important, but the ability to change direction is quite possibly more important than flat out speed in many cases. Speed development and enhancement is a careful balance and combination of strength training, sport training, skill training, and speed and agility training.

We start our SSA athletes grade 7 and older, but will assess younger athletes based on maturity and functional strength. Our athletes learn the correct form and technique for running, jumping, lateral movement. They will build a strong base of 'muscle memory' to keep solid mechanics as they grow older.

We evaluate our young athletes often to check their progress and analyze how they are progressing toward our combined goals. Together we get our young athletes to an athletic level that will surprise you, coaches and the other parents watching the game.

Campers will be given a SSA work guide to assist them in developing their own "at home" work out! We give them the instruction and guide then it is up to them to challenge themselves to develop over time.

What can SSA do for your game?

• Improve Speed
• Increase Strength
• Improve Agility
• Develop Endurance
• Maximize Jumping Ability
• Decrease Susceptibility to Injury
• Boost Confidence
• Enhanced Athleticism

• Improved Self-Discipline

mattMATT PARKS OF “2ND TO N0NE” TRAINING WILL COACH THIS HOOPZONE CAMP FOR OUR SERIOUS PLAYERS!

Matt Parks challenges players by putting a focus on "getting uncomfortable" with a diverse amount of drills that not only test an athlete's physicality and skill, but their mental understanding of the game as well.
