Online Plays

COMMENTS ON THIS PLAY: High post passing makes this a great set. You must have a big that is good with ball handling.

youthplay3-2

Begin in a 4 out - 1 in formation.

When #1 calls the play # 5 will flash to the free throw line and receive a pass from #1.

Once #5 receives the pass from #1, #4 will make a hard cut toward the foul line extended area to set up their defender, then make a back-cut toward the basket.

If #4 is open, #5 will make a pass to them for a lay-up.

#5 can also look for a jump shot or drive to the basket at any point in this play.

If #4 is not open on the back-cut, they should continue through the lane and set a back screen for #3.

#3 should be setting up their defender with a good v-cut off of #4's screen.

If #3 is open, #5 will make a pass to them for a lay-up.

If #3 is not open, they should continue to cut out toward the foul line extended area.

#4, after setting the screen for #3, should open up to the ball for a possible pass from #5.

If no options are good #5 should pass back out to guard to setup again or call another play.
